How India can attract all those outgoing Chinese manufacturing units to its territories?

The World is going through a paradigm shift in terms of Trade and financial ties amongst the Global superpowers and while China still holds the biggest chunk of world’s total electronic Production, it is expected to raise many folds by the next 10 years. Although the Chinese economy has seen a big upsurge in the past two decades, a big jump in its manpower costs has come up as a big point of concern for the local manufacturers. Their worries aren’t limited to just the manpower costs as the up surging Electricity and natural gas costs along with numerous taxes and duties have dented their future growth plans, big time. This is when India can make the most of the opportunity by inviting most of the Chinese electronics manufacturers to the country by providing them the entire required infrastructure at reasonable costs. This would not only help the economy in term of more revenue and foreign Investment, but also helps in providing the local people with greater employment opportunities. Even Sunil Kilaru, Director of Kalpin Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. (Kalpin),agrees with the same fact and he firmly believes that Indian government must support and assist with everything they can while providing a conducive environment for all the foreign manufacturing firms. That way, he believes, India gets a big push towards its quest if becoming a Global superpower. He further stated, “India holds a big chance of cracking into this makeshift of the Chinese manufacturers to foreign territories .Looking at the recent reports by the Consumer Electronics and Appliances Manufacturers Association (CEAMA) and Frost & Sullivan, the consumer electronics industry in India is all set to grow at a CAGR of 9.5% from 2015 till 2021 and this is the moment when the country along with its manufacturing giants, must look forward to grab that 30-40% share of the global electronics manufacturing by inviting Chinese manufacturers to the Indian Territory. Mr. Sunil Kilaru further added, “We have started working in the same direction with the best of our efforts and recently signed an MOU with All Wins, based out of Shenzhen, China. Kalpin would assist and support them with the entire required Infrastructure in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Moreover, some of the Chinese Consumer Electronics Manufacturing giants’ like Holitech and TCL are kick starting with their manufacturing units in Tirupati, A.P. While TCL is believed to be investing 2000 Crore, Holitech is also planning to invest a big sum of 1400 crore over the next two years. This would certainly bring in a number of employment opportunities for the local people while boosting the overall economic growth of Andhra Pradesh along with the whole country.”
