How Left Behind Series & Bad Bible Translation Causes Serious Loss to Believers

The Left Behind series is known to be fiction, but like violence on TV or video games, we see a serious increase as crime or violence is reflected to our youth.
The brain knows it’s fiction, but we participate in the excitement and become used to stimulation and even crave it. Ten views of fiction may be like one experience for real as the brain gets confused.

So where’s the bad translation and how does it rob believers or cause loss? It’s easiest to see in the wedding parables of Christ that offer high destiny. “He will make [us] ruler over all that He has” if we meet conditions that we aren’t seeing. Luke 12:35-48 also says we will be beaten with stripes if we don’t prepare.

Christ, the Great Teacher who divided BC from AD was also a great motivator with high reward or serious loss, and if one studies the Bible, they gain the conviction that this is for real, not fiction.

Some Bible students recognize the rule of first use that where a word or phrase is first found, it can have a meaning for end-times because Christ is “the first and the last” (Rev 1:10) and He’s also the Word, John 1:1,14.

Applying this rule to Luke’s wedding parable, Christ says to have “loins girded.” The first use of this phrase goes back to Exod 12:11 where Israel was to be ready to leave.
It didn’t mean a rapture; it meant readiness for a serious event. The wedding parables each show a sudden, unexpected calamity.

In Matthew 22:7, the remnant get their city burned and the cry at midnight in Matthew 25:6 is an echo of calamity falling on Egypt at Passover, Exod 12. The knock in Luke 12:36 is an earthquake because that’s how the last church where Christ knocked ended.
All of these descriptions fit “the day of the Lord” that Paul said comes as a thief in the night—when they say ‘Peace and safety,’ sudden destruction [earthquake] comes as travail on a woman with child…watch.

Watching—being awake and praying on the eve of Passover when Christ told His disciples to do so is protective, seen also in Rev 3:3; Matt 24:43.

Christians don’t do Passover; but we overlook Christ telling His disciples that the bread and cup represented His body and blood (so we don’t kill a lamb—He fulfilled the sacrificial laws) but we should see the Lord’s Supper as a Passover observance at that appointed time, mo’ed, Lev 23:44.

Paul did so with Greek believers at Philippi in Acts 20:6 and in Corinth, 1Cor 5:8, and he said, “Follow me as I follow Christ,” 1Cor 11:1. Doing so and then eating Lamb spiritually by reviewing what He bore for us that night and praying is the perfect way to be ready for what came on Him as a microcosm of end-time events.

A clue for us would be His last parables that show the same timing and must be aspects of the same huge event, “as the days of Noah” when the Flood came with Passover timing, but in the 2nd month.

The next parable begins, “Then [same time] shall two be in bed; one taken, the other left.” Could it mean taken by a SWAT team to a FEMA camp because we didn’t flee as He warned when we saw ‘the abomination…standing where it ought not.’? Mark 13:14

Protestants see the papacy as the Mother of Abominations in Rev 17:5, and the pope was “standing where he ought not” in US Congress in 2015. Meaningful or meaningless?
Christians should have an exit plan like Israel when they left Egypt and ate unleavened bread for 7 days. The US is like Egypt—they killed babies; the US has aborted 60 million.

Judgment will fall on the US for our abominations. God didn’t rapture Israel—He took them to the wilde
ess for a covenant saying later, “I am married to you,” Jer 3:14 “All those things happened to them for examples,” 1Cor 10:1,11

When five women missed the wedding, Christ said, Watch (clue for Passover, the only night that being awake was commanded, you don’t know (eido means be aware, consider, understand) for the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country.

If they took a long journey in spring and couldn’t get back for Passover, they were to keep it a month later as seen in Numbers 9:10,11. Clues for 2nd Passover fit the last 7 parables.
