How Low Levels of HGH or Testosterone Can Affect Sexual Health

As men age, they experience hormonal changes in their bodies that can present itself in not so apparent ways.

What is Low T?

Low T describes the decreased levels in the body. It is often associated with the production of sperm in males and sex drive, but it also plays in many important roles such as bone and muscle mass or even mood. After puberty, the male testosterone begins to decrease. However, Low T can affect you in a number of ways: • Decreased sex drive in men • Erectile dysfunction • Low sperm count • Low energy • Weight gain • Depression • Low-self esteem • Decreased memory or concentration • Hair loss • Decreased bone density

Benefits to increasing testosterone levels?

The apparent benefits of increased levels are the corrections of symptoms caused by deficiency such as improved sexual health, Increased memory, Increased muscle mass, etc.

Treatment for low levels in males:

• Injections into a muscle can be administered every few weeks at a leveled dose by a medical professional. • Daily patches to the skin can be applied • Testosterone pellets can be placed under the skin of the buttocks every 3-4 months

What is HGH?

It is naturally produced in the pituitary gland and is responsible for cell regeneration as well as the growth and maintenance of human tissue. Symptoms of deficiency include: depression, fatigue, insulin resistance, risk of cardiovascular disease, decreased muscle strength, memory loss, and also hair loss. But by correcting the deficiency, hormone therapy can prove beneficial. The use of human growth hormone is limited to what is stated by the FDA due to its side effects .

What is Sermorelin?

It is considered as a great alte ative to traditional therapy. Scientifically, it is referred to as a growth hormone releasing factor. The reason for its increased popularity is because of its safety compared to traditional hormone treatment. This can be due to its relative difficulty for an overdose and an intermittent release of growth hormone rather than a constant release (as with injections) (1). Growth hormone is associated with a range of negative side effects, but sermorelin-acetate has not been associated with a long list like HGH.

Benefits of HGH or Hormone Replacement Therapy:

2006 study on its effects showed a significant improvement in brain functions of 89 elderly adults. Also, because this chemical increases the person’s own growth hormone by stimulating the pituitary gland it has more of a clinical advantage over normal therapy.
