Bath time is splash time! At least for most children. Most babies and toddlers enjoy getting wet and splashing around in the baby bathtub while others may not. Being prepared to make your child's experience a safe one is significant. Most children also love to take baths-especially when there are bubbles involved. A warm bath can calm the most excited child, making it easier for him to fall asleep at night. A cold, afternoon bath can be an excellent activity for smaller children. Mom will have a chance to sit still for a while, while the children blow bubbles. Finger paint (with soap paints), or enjoy other water time activities. There's an old saying that when you give birth to a baby, you give birth to your baby common-sense soon after....rnBut just in case you need some extra advice, here are some basic baby care tips on keeping her clean.rnIn the early days, you may feel there is an abundance of baby items you have to buy, but is clean, fed and comfortable are your baby's basic needs. How often should you bath your new born baby?rnFor the first and second weeks of life, newborns don't need an actual bath. Pediatricians mostly recommend sponge bath. Although more experts have been saying that bathing you baby in a tub of water right from the start is perfectly acceptable, the key is to watch the umbilical cord and circumcision for any signs of swelling, redness or discharge. As long as you're cleaning your baby's bottom with each diaper change and washing his face and hands several times a day, bathing him two to three rounds a week is enough. Use gentle soap only every few days and use plain water in between so that you don't dry out your baby's delicate skin. How often should you bath your 2 month old baby?rnAfter 3-4 days a week is perfect timing for a two-month baby bathing. There should be at least two baths in a week. The bath should be however a sponge bath and done with lukewarm water. Breastfeeding may cause milk splashes that need to be wiped to avoid infection on the skin. The perfect timing for their showers is afternoon or when the weather is not very cold. Night baths should be exclusively avoided at this particular age. Soaps and lotions may be avoided at this age but this may go with preference. The climate should also be weighed since some climatic regions may only allow bathing your two month is child once a week. How often should you bath your 3 month old baby?rnTwice a week for a 3-month-old will do since the baby is not prone to getting dirty still. However, the typical delicate parts such as neck, legs and arms should be well cleaned. Night time bath is preferred for this age if the weather is alright .Baby soaps, oils and the lotions should frequently be used to keep the skin supple. After a diapers change the baby should be wiped thoroughly. The growing hair should be rinsed regularly with water and perhaps a shampoo brand that is not perfumed.
