A social network is a virtual structure; it is a network which comprises of individuals, companies, organizations interconnected with one another by one or more inter dependencies like common interests, hobbies, follower of a celebrity, friendship, relationship etc. Usually people tend to use social networks for the sake of entertainment, chilling out, killing time, playing games, taking various fun quizzes or following other people. The best examples of social networks are facebook, orkut, twitter, myspace and the new arrival is the Google+.

With the passage of time people have begun to understand the dynamics of a social network, hence the arrival of new possibilities, new opportunities, upon seeing the various dynamics of a social network the creative intellect of businessmen and professionals began to express its self and hence such social networks became a great place to conduct business, which can be deduced from the fact that facebook became one of the top business sites in the world. This has caused the social networks to evolve into a new breed of social network exclusively meant for business, called business social networks.

A business social network is just like the common social network, it is a digital social structure which comprises exclusively of companies, organizations, professionals all interconnected but here the interdependencies are quite limited or just one if placed in a nut shell, the basic motive behind joining a business social network is to expand ones professional experience and to create and avail new opportunitiesenabling them to tread on the path to prosperity. A Business social network are formal social networks, with their primary objective being able to connect various professional, corporations, organizations with one another in a highly professional and sophisticated manner.

A business social network allows one to create and avail business opportunities. It can be used by employers to list job opportunities in their firm, or they can review the profiles of professional and choose by themselves if they can be employed or not. Companies can for connections/networks with other companies and can pursue different business ventures or can work with one another.Professionals can follow different companies and look at their standing in the business world before making the choice of applying in a particular firm or not. Companies/Professionals can post the services which they provide, which opens new doors for them , creating new business opportunities which can availed other members of the social network can avail. A Business Social Network is a place where individuals / organizations tend to advertise themselves and their services.

With each passing day the opportunities and the possibilities are increasing, so join a business social network and explore the new possibilities, remove any limitations hindering you to move forward in you career or business.
