Last Minute Travel Deals - How To Spot Them for Great Savings

Got a spur of the moment travel urge? Want to get away after a bad week or

to celebrate something good?

It sounds like a great idea and you should enjoy your last minute travel for

whatever reason.

But chances are there's a little voice in the back of your mind saying "booking

travel this late could be very expensive."

That little voice is the travel industry with its pricing policies. The earlier you

book the better price - in general. The chance of getting a last minute travel

deal seems remote.

It is difficult for those without the knowledge and these insider tips.

TIP #1: Be open to what's available. Having a specific place in mind is ok but

being willing to compromise is the best way to get a bargain. Having a climate

in mind (sunny and sandy) is better tha
Freeport Bahamas.

TIP #2: Offpeak flights are cheaper. Flying during the week, like on a

Wednesday, is better than the high-traffic weekends. Also flying in offpeak

hours is better, too.

TIP #3: Hotels are cheaper during offpeak, too. Air traffic and lodging go

hand-in-hand. So offpeak should be your timeframe. Visit the hotel's website.

They may have some super deals they don't publish elsewhere.

Last minute travel deals are easy to find. Especially when you're open-ended

on your travel timeframe. You can still have a great travel experience and

accomplish your goal of getting away for a while. Fire up your web browser

and have a look around for your next travel urge.
