Everybody makes mistakes, these mistakes give experience so that we can avoid them in future. When it comes to b2b email marketing, we make mistakes in the content which we send to the prospects. We struggle all those weeks to design the draft and deliver it to the prospects inboxes only to know that an error has been made.

Such kind of emails ends with an apology which haunts us for a while. From then each time we send the mail makes us to be more conscious and cautious as this may lead to our quality reputation. Many times it’s not just a contextual spelling or grammatical error that makes it through. It can be a mismatch of service description or product description which is not the one client is looking for.

How to overcome from such email marketing?

Defend yourselves by a thorough proofreadingr
Before sending an email, proofread thoroughly your email draft, check for grammatical errors, and if necessary use grammar tools that help to correct your grammar. Firstly copy write, proofread and then do the QA which is most important. At the end of the day, quality content is what we desire for.

Quick and actionable feedback/response loopsr
Be ready to reply the customer as soon as he responds to your mail. Be helpful. Respond to the same thread so that you can have a track record of your conversation in one single mail which is easy for future conversations too.

Review multiple variationsr
When personalized email is being sent with a lot of content, make sure you preview multiple variations/ samples of similar cases to prepare dynamic email draft before hitting send.

Don’t rely on other to write your draftr
Don’t be lazy and rely on the third person to write your content for marketing. This is your pitch, you play on the ground with your words and terms. Write the content in your perspective on how you can help the clients rather simply copying the content what others have written and given to you.

Evaluate the content with extreme caution to ensure email quality and maintain brand’s message & voice.
