Toenail fungus is a disease which is not fun because of the pain and itching, yellowish color, and damage to the edge of the nails which cause them to be cracked and broken. It can be excruciating. For people who live in the tropics like me, toenail fungus often occurs in the rainy season. At the time of the rain we are faced with difficult conditions because of the moist environment. The fungus grows very easy in moist conditions. To fix this I found time to dry nail with sunlight. Drying the nails with sunshine, slightly help reduce pain in the nail, because the fungus has difficulty growing when exposed to sunlight.

There are many types of toenail fungus, and treatment is different too. Starting from mild to chronic. Nails which have a mild infection can be treated by administering ointment or administration of drugs taken orally. So far, I have never experienced serious toenail fungus. I did was cut nails, clean them and keep them dry. I devoted time to dry my nails under the morning sun. It was powerful, suppressing the development of the fungus. Keeping your feet dry is key, to avoid toenail fungus. Here are some tips for you to avoid toenails fungus.

- Keep the cleanliness of nails. Nail fungus usually attacks the toenails, but there is also affecting the finge
ails. Toenails are often overlooked because it is usually covered by shoes. Cleaning the nail,can be cut and clean the edges of the dirty. This should be done regularly.

  • Wear shoes that are loose. Wearing tight shoes can cause foot pinned, and too stuffy. Narrow shoes are also more moist so that the fungus is easier to breed. Wear loose shoes to make the feet to breathe easier, and reducing humidity.
  • Never use a wet footwear. Fungi reproduce in damp areas. Using a wet footwear makes you vulnerable to fungus.
  • Maintain footwear remained in the dry state. Try to keep in a dry footwear, to avoid be a breeding ground for fungus.

In addition to cleaning your nails and protecting your footwear you should also pay attention to nutrition for nails. Adequate nutrition will make your nails strong and healthy. Nutrition important to nails are minerals, especially calcium and various vitamins, such as Vitamin A and B. These nutrients can be found in a variety of green vegetable and fruits.

Symptoms of toenail fungus are physical changes such as yellowish discoloration of the nail. To overcome this I usually will cut the edge of nail and reduce the usage of shoes. Reducing the usage of shoes makes the toenails more exposed to dry environment and protected from moisture. That is what I do to help get rid of foot fungus.

Maintain cleanliness of your feet and stay away from moisture. This will make the fungus die by itself.
