Do you want to maintain a healthy body that is free from any illness or diseases? I believe everyone wants to attain that. However, there are still many of us who are not aware of the things to do or the best solution to achieve a healthy body. It is sad to hear as well that there are people who died and the others are dying with diseases which is also caused by themselves.

One of the diseases that has already killed millions of lives of men and women from around the world is stage iv lung cancer. And the number one cause of this disease is smoking. Lung cancer is actually a disease that we can all avoid. We can quit smoking or we can move to a different area if our current location is exposed to radon gas or asbestos fibers.

If it is too late to avoid the said disease then, we need to act early to prevent it from reaching the advance stage. Almost all kinds of cancer can be cured if detected at an earliest time. The sad thing is that the symptoms or signs does not develop until it has reach the final stage. So if ever your doctor told you that you have lung cancer and can still be cured, you better do something now to avoid the risk of having it reach the stage iv lung cancer.

Now here are some of the simple things that you can do to avoid the cancer from reaching the final stage.

1. Stop smoking – cigarettes and tobacco contains chemicals that causes cancer and of these is nicotine.
2. Eat healthy foods – add some vegetables and fruits to your meal. Foods that are high in antioxidants and flavonoids are helpful to repaid the damage cells and secure the DNA. Apples have high level of flavonoids.
3. Radon test – have your home tested for radon. It is a chemical that can be found in the soil. In can penetrated in the walls of your home and can increase your risk of having lung cancer.
4. Avoid second hand smoke – if you are not smoking, then better avoid inhaling the smoke from the cigarettes or tobacco of others. The carcinogens present can also increase your risk to have a lung cancer.
5. Visit a doctor – it is best to visit a doctor and ask whether you are at risk of lung cancer. Remember, the symptoms for this kind of illness do not appear unless it is already severe. Better be early than to find out it has arrived to stage iv lung cancer.

Aside from the things mentioned in the list, it is also best to exercise regularly and drink alcohol in moderation. We can all have a healthy body and be fit if we have discipline with ourselves. We know what is good and which is not. Switching to a healthy lifestyle can gradually reduce your risk of having lung cancer and from having it arrive to stage iv lung cancer.
