The very common world that we all know, DVD is an abbreviation of Digital Versatile Disc that is the primary medium used in the video industry. DVDs are not restricted to video and can also store information ranging from documents to music or video games. DVDs are also used as a backup medium in many conditions. If you want to create a back up copy of a video clip or games, you have to use the software to copy DVD in your computer. For this, your computer or laptop must be connected to the internet and must be equipped with a DVD-R or DVD-RW Drive in addition to a printer. rnThough internet connection, you can easily browse for and store the software or applications required for creating a backup copy of your favorite DVD. For this, you need to find the DVDShrink software from the internet, save and install it on your computer or laptop. After installing the software, you can insert your original video into the DVD-R or DVD-RW device and tick the button in DVDShrink to have it scrutinize your original disc. rnOnce your DVD is full, you can choose the option to create a back up. The moment you choose the backup option, it will give you an option of making a backup to an empty DVD or your HDD. Here, you should choose the one which best suits your requirements. Usually, it’s better to back up to an empty DVD. Now just insert your blank DVD and wait until the copying process is completed. When the copying process is completed, you can either use your printer with the disc label to make a personalized label or just use your marker to write down the tile of the disc you just copied. rnIn case, you are not able to copy your DVD with the DVDShrink software, you need to use additional software that is known as DVD DECRYPTER. You will find all the technical support online to help you with complete instructions and some with images. rnThe main reason for which software or video games files on DVDs can’t be copied with the DVD Shrink is the fact that this software was developed while considering the video files; not the games or encrypted data files. To copy these, you need to find other software from the internet. You must be also aware of the fact that DVDs have copyrights that may be violated by creating a copy disc even if you own the original. However, you don’t need to worry if you are using the DVDShrink software because it just compresses the DVD files rather than burning them.
