Your snack time should migrate from unhealthy food to healthy choices like eating a banana or an apricot. Instead of choosing a candy bar or an ice cream cone, eat fruit to keep your weight down and your vitamin intake up.
By sitting at a desk all day and then when you get home just sitting in the lounge, you are not getting enough physical activity into each day. This does not necessarily mean that you have to join the gym straight away. It just means that you should think about being a little more active during the day.
