Many of people are wonder to see beautiful gardens and only one question rises in their mind that is what the secret are behind this and the answer of their question is very simple that there is only one factor in having beautiful gardens that is quality of the soil of your lawn. This article will provide many useful tips that make your soil fertile and make your plants and vegetable healthy. Plants get their food (nutrients and minerals) from soil and if soil is not of good quality then it is not possible for plant to grow in healthy way. Soil is most important aspects of growing organic garden.

There are main five elements of soil which we will discuss in details and will give tips to increase the fertility of soil and make your normal soil to top soil. Following are main elements that soil composes of:-

• Silt: - This is the basic type of soil that suffers like clay. This soil is composed of many small and medium particles which cause sticking. It is advisable that if you are working with silt, avoid walking or standing on the soil and when cultivating, keep in mind that it is dry. Autumn is best to dig silt soil.
• Sand: - This soil drain very easily and that this soil is very demanding. This soil also require of extra organic matter and minerals. Water drain more quickly because of these nutrients drains out more quickly. One of the best part of sand soil is that it warms quickly that is why it is perfect for beginning plant growth. As other soil it is not important for sand soil to leave them during winter season. To reduce the amount of drainage of sand soil adds some mulch.
• Clay: - It is just like sand soil and face same problem as in sand soil. Clay soil not allows passing both water and air and when it become dry it become very hard. Clay soil improves the quality of existing soil and it is one of the best soils to work with it and producing some of the best tasting organic vegetables.
• Alkaline: - This soil is dry and thin. Its particles are same as sand soil so water drain from it at fast rate. Main problem with this soil is that many plants lose necessary nutrients for healthy growth. To get out of rid from this problem you will need to add fertilizer so that plant gets necessary nutrients for their growth. In the time of cultivation this soil needs to add topsoil.
• Peat: - gardening with peat is very easy as it is one of the most fertile soils. This soil contain large amount of acid and it is very fertile.
