Are you interested in becoming a Yoga teacher? The Yoga industry is thriving right right now not only because it can be a lucrative career financially, but more so because of how rewarding it is. If you have practiced Yoga, you know how fulfilling this experience can be. But being a teacher takes it to a whole other level because you guide a whole classroom towards becoming healthier and going deeper within themselves. So if you are interested in learning how to become a Yoga teacher, here are some things to keep in mind: 1. Find the Right Yoga school - If you are going to take a yoga teacher training, you need to find the right school for you. There are many schools that offer teacher training programs but it is important that the one you select supports your goals and vision. 2. Yoga Alliance - Make sure that whatever teacher training program you take is registered under the Yoga Alliance. This is a non-profit organization that looks over the Yoga industry as a whole and makes sure that Yoga schools keep to certain standards. Also, most Yoga studios will not hire you unless you have taken a Yoga teacher training program with a school registered under the Yoga Alliance. 3. Take Multiple Courses - If you are going to be considered a good teacher within the Yoga industry, it is a good idea to take multiple teacher training programs so that you are well rounded. Becoming a Yoga teacher and gettting your Yoga certification can be very exciting when done appropriately. Just remember that like any industry, when you begin you start off at the bottom like everyone else!
