Multiple User Profiles in Outlook- Microsoft Outlook- Many users (business as well as home users) use this MS Outlook application to carry out the emailing and other tasks like email management, contacts management, task management, etc. It offers advanced functions along with Easy to use graphical interface. A user can create multiple profiles in it as per his requirement. It creates one PST file for the storage of mailbox database of one user profile. In earlier versions, the size limit of one user profile i.e. PST files was 2GB but, now it has been extended to 20 GB in recent versions (Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010). The Outlook users can store upto 20 GB database in the PST file of one profile. Usually the need to create multiple profiles in this Outlook comes for business users because they wish to have an easy and organized emailing. It is not that if something is offering you advantages then, it will not offer disadvantages. Both advantages and disadvantages come together in accessing of multiple Outlook profiles.
When Outlook users create multiple profiles for organized emailing, they usually face problems in accessing their contacts information and calendar information. For example- A user wants to search his one particular contact’s information of Outlook and he is not aware about, which profile among its many Outlook profiles, has contained that particular contact information then, he has to look in his all Outlook profiles, which is a very time consuming process. This problem of information search can be removed with the help of merging. Contacts information of two Outlook profiles can be brought together by merging two Outlook contacts files
There could be one more case like if the user was using an earlier version of Outlook but now he has switched to a recent version of Outlook and he wants to have its entire Outlook contacts information from earlier Outlook edition to recent Outlook editions then, he has to carry out the process of merging two Outlook contacts files. He can merge the contacts information from PST of earlier Outlook edition to recent Outlook edition.
How to Merge Two Outlook Contacts Files Together? - With the help of PST Merge software, you can easily merge two Outlook contacts files together. You can merge all items of two or more Outlook files (including emails, contacts, tasks, calendar, etc) together and you can also merge individual items (only emails, only contacts, only calendar, etc) of two Outlook files together by using this PST Merge software. This software doesn’t make changes and doesn’t over write the information of email and other Outlook database while merging two Outlook contacts lists together.
