Holika Dahan is the most popular legend of Holi where Holika was killed by Prahlad who chanted Vishnu’s name while being thrown into the fire. Other legends of Holi include legend of Radha Krishna, legend of Pootana, legend of Lord Kamdeva. One of the most famous stories behind Holi is that of Radha and Krishna. As a child, Krishna was jealous of Radha’s fair skin and so he decided to put colours on her and make her dark like him.
