Being in sales every since I was a child growing up in Brooklyn, New York. I have encountered many reasons for not buying.No, guaranteed I was selling small products-like seeds for gardens, paper subsciptions, Clover Leaf salve ect. As I grew I became involved in selling Fuller Brush products, in the Pittsburgh, Penn area, door to door.Most of my earlier selling was cold caling, door to door.I did very well, I went from from to salesmasn to Terriority Supervisor, I was responsible for over 70 people.I, realize early that people like "FREE ITEMS"aT fULLER bRUSH WE HAD A APPROCH CARD THAT GAVE PEOPLE AS CHOICE OF MANY FREE ITEM...door ope
ers.This approach folder gave them some choices, it worked very effective for my sales.But still some people had OBJECTIONS. So one night after work, I began to realize that if I could answer more objections, I could make more progress and more MONEY. I, also sold magazine subscriptions door to door, Readers Digest, Ebony ect.I learned early in my career that [LIARS ARE BUYERS'}..OBJECTIONS PLAGUED my whole career.I began to keep a recored the reasons that people did not buy...so I made it a policy to keep records on the objections that I received.I found out that there were 4 reason or shoud I say stalls to not buy.Now Zig Ziglar said that there are only 5 Reasons don't buy,,they are;NO NEED-NO WANT-NO HURRY-NO MONEY-NO TRUST...the only one that you can not answer on the first call is NO TRUST..The others I learned to handle. No there was are 4 Customers's attitude toward your product generally falls into one of these four categories:
