One of most common hair problems reported by men is hair loss. Hair loss can be a result of anything, including thinning and weakening of hair. Watching your hair get thin, feeble, and break off each day is really annoying and frustrating. There can be many reasons behind thinning of hair, right from your lifestyle to your heredity to undernourishment of hair, etc. However, there are methods that can be used in order to control thinning of hair. Not only you will be able to control thinning of hair, but also thicken them to a state where they become strong, healthy, and lustrous. Below are the methods you can use to control thinning of hair and improve their health. Coconut Oil Massage – Massing head and scalp with coconut oil on a regular basis is highly beneficial in controlling thinning of hair. Gentle massage throughout the scalp with coconut oil provides the essential nutrients to the hair follicles and increases the blood circulation across the scalp, making it healthier. A healthy scalp holds the hair stronger. Regular massaging stimulates the hair follicles, making hair thick and lustrous. Massage at least 2 to 3 times a week. Consume Healthy Diet – If you are suffering from thin, brittle hair, it can be due to your unhealthy diet. You might be consuming diet insufficient in essential nutrients that are required for healthy hair. Consuming a diet rich in all essential vitamins, minerals, nutrients helps a great deal in thickening the hair. Make sure you consume 10 to 12 glasses of water per day in order to keep your body hydrated. You can also switch to vitamin supplements for healthy hair. Adequate Haircare – Adequate haircare is extremely essential to keep your hair healthy. There is no clear-cut guideline as to how often you should shampoo your hair. Therefore, you can do it as required. Too much shampooing can reduce moisture in your hair and make them dry. Using a shampoo twice a week is more than sufficient. Never wash hair with water that is too hot. Use a gentle shampoo that suits your hair type. Never forget to apply conditioner. Protect Your Hair – Protect your hair from dust, pollution, chemicals, sunlight, cold waves, etc. All these things deteriorate the health of hair, making them dry, thin, and brittle. Cover your hair properly whenever going out.Read more about Thinning Hair in Men.
