The catering business is one of the most rapidly rising businesses. As time becomes constrained, more families are choosing to opt for outsourced cooking companies for their dinner parties and gatherings instead of cooking meals by themselves. So if you are trying to create catering logo, how should it be? rnThe catering business is all about serving the customers so why not let that depict in your brand mark design? rn1. What fonts to use?rnStraight fonts represent professionalism while curvy fonts reflect creativity and innovation. Since this business is a combination of both, you need to use italic effect of any straight font style. This effect will say that your company is capable, professional and innovative at the same time. The only rule to remember here is to make sure that your symbol is easily readable. You can also place your company name at an aligned angle to make it more interesting. rn2. What images to use?rnUse images that represent ‘serving the customer’. You can use an illustration of a gloved hand with a tray or you can use an illustration of a fat and mustached chef accompanying the company name. You can also add elements of innovation by using images of cutlery piled together or you can use an illustration of a dining table with cutlery placed on it. Another great idea is to keep the focus on the corporation name in your trademark and use images of cutlery in place of the company name letters. For example, you can use a pictorial of a wineglass for the letter I or a plate for the letter O. This will make your business name easily memorable for the viewers. rn3. What colors to use?rnMany people make the mistake of using colors they like in their brand marks instead of using colors that would represent their industry wisely. A catering trademark needs to be sophisticated and elegant and colors play an important role in that. Red is a color that is usually associated with food and is usually a common choice for this type of emblem but it is also important to use this color wisely. rnTones of red can be a little irritating to the eye if used strongly so make sure that if you are using a red colored object then the background should be kept in neutral or light colors. Another combination that is frequently seen in these types of trademarks is white and black. You can use black illustrations on a white background to make your catering logo design look sophisticated and chic. rnIn a nutshell, the message that you want to portray through your brand mark design is that your company is professional, skilled, innovative and sophisticated. Use images, fonts and colors that depict the same to your target audience.
