Whether your company is a record label or radio station, you need a musical brand mark to set your corporation apart from the crowd. rnThis design will be a symbol of your proficiency, creativity and originality and will probably make you famous one day so make sure that you choose the right images and colors to represent your corporation. rnLet’s have a look how you can create a music logo design that is distinct and memorable. rnWhat images to use? Use images that are related to tunes or that remind you of it. For example, you can use images of melodic notes, headphones, guitar or a piano. Using such images can give you a wider range for creativity. You only need to be able to customize your image according to your business nature. For example, if you are creating a brand mark for a record label, then you can use an image of a record in place of O or Q in your company name or you can use an abstract illustration of a man with headphones.rnYou can also use a colorful image of sound waves or a sound icon. Similarly, if you are creating a design for a music school, then you can use an image of a guitar, piano or melodic notes. To add a little innovation to the image, you can draw half of a guitar or any other instrument with thin lines to add a little mystery to the design and use bright colors like red, pink, green and blue to make the emblem attractive. Keep the background neutral or light colored if the colors of the image are too bright. If you are creating an icon for a radio station, then you can use symbols for ‘play’ or ‘forward’ in your emblem. rnWhat colors should you use? Just like melody has no boundaries, neither do the colors that should be used in their brand marks. You can use bright colors or dull, loud colors or light. Just make sure that the colors that you use are complementing each other and their background. Try not to use more than three colors in the symbol lest it look tacky but if you are 4 colors then make sure that you keep a white background to retain the simplicity of the design. rnWhat fonts should you use? Choose fonts according to your business nature. For example, if you are creating a music logo for a record company, then use thick and straight fonts with sharp edges like Acklin Regular, Julius black or Trumania Een. For a radio station, you can add a little funkiness to the emblem. You can use fonts like Junior, Boogiewoogie HMK or Discotheque. For a music school you can use curvy fonts like Black Chancery or Edwardian for the trademark. rnSo, there you have some great ideas for your musical brand mark.
