In baseball, you must have noticed that the teams wear two separate uniforms for home and road. Usually the home team wears white while the guests are dressed in gray, blue or purple. That is simply to differentiate between the two squads on the field. Another differentiating factor is their baseball team logo design. These emblems are designed with careful thought and detail so that it reflects the team’s personality and uniqueness. Since they are also the symbols that will later be used for celebration and victory festivity, it is important that they be designed with utmost thought and care. So how should you design your squad’s symbol? What images, colors and fonts should you use? Let’s have a look. rn1. What Images Should You Use?rnAs far as images are concerned, I believe that the world of ideas is open to you. You can choose sports equipment to represent your players or you can use animal images to associate their mammal attributes with the group. Besides that you can also use the location of your team for a unique and exclusive touch. For example, if you are based in New York then you can use the statue of liberty in the backdrop or if you are based in Hawaii, then you can use sand and palm trees for the monogram. Another great idea is to use group name initials accompanied by a small image or icon. For example, if the name starts with M, then you can accompany it with angel-like wings. rn2. What Colors Should You Use?rnRed and blue colors are often popularly seen for baseball emblems. According to the color psychology, red is mostly associated with passion and aggression, two important ingredients while crafting your own squad’s symbol. Red is also one of the most attractive colors that accelerate your heartbeat and energizes you. Blue is the color of dependability and justice, another two important characteristics for a squad. You can also use colors like black, green and white but red and blue still remain one of the most popular colors. rn3. What Fonts Should You Use?rnScript fonts are usually associated with baseball team logo designs. Besides baseball many other industries like beverages, football and motorcycle have also adopted the script fonts for their symbols. Some of the font styles created by the sports team have been so popular that the name of the font style has been kept after the squad. The reason for choosing script fonts is that they give the impression of fun lovingness’ while maintaining its aggressive and passionate impression. You can also use thick and straight fonts for your emblem but that will not give as traditional look as the script fonts. rnIn conclusion, don’t be afraid to get creative with your players’ emblem. Try and make it distinct and exclusive from other group designs.
