All mammals produces milk .milk is white in color because it contains casein. Milk contains fat which makes milk white. Low and non fat milk appears less white in color. Domestic animals which gives milk for consumption are buffaloes, goats,sheeps,and camels all these are widely used in various parts of our world .milk is important in our diet it contains vitamins and nutrients and many benefits for health .such as.. 1) HEALTHY BONES AND TEETH: milk contains calcium which is useful for healthy bones and teeth. Calcium increases bone strength it increases calcification of bones and reduces bone fragility brittleness. Hence prevents from bone fracture .deficiency of calcium causes bones fragile and brittle and more prone to fracture. For absorption of calcium vitamin D is required. Vitamin D deficiency leads to inadequate absorption of calcium. So vitamin d should be required for absorption of calcium so persons should expose to sunlight it contains vitamin D. This milk contains calcium potassium and phosphorous this fulfills the diet which human requires and controls the blood pressure. 4) CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE: A survey had proved that consumption of milk will reduce the cardiovascular disease .persons who consumes milk are less prone to cardiovascular disease. it had stated that higher intake of calcium reduced heart problems .it reduces the low density lipoproteins level in our body and prevents accumulation of low density lipoproteins on blood vessels .it prevents from pulmonary atherosclerosis .sometimes calcium may binds to the fat in the gut and prevents their absorption . 5) OBESITY: some researches have proven that people who consume it and with limited diet are more slim and healthy than others who don't consume it. People who take calcium and phosphorous product with low calorie diet are observed increased weight loss. 6) TYPE 2 DIABETIS: consumption of this calcium and phosphorous product with low calorie diet will reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes. This is more commonly seen in children and young adults. Consumption of this diet reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes in third decade of life in woman and younger age groups. Milk is the good product which rehydrates the body fluids and nutrients and maintains healthy teeth. Everyday after exercise body loses fluids and dehydrated so consumption of this product helps to rehydrate and replenish body fluids. it recovers the body from exhausting exercise. OVER CONSUMPTION OF MILK: Even though it contains good amount of calcium phosphorous and low calorie content over consumption of it leads to side effects like a) weight gain: normally in a daily life 80 % calories are required over consumption of more than 600 to 800 calories will leads to weight gain. Because it contains fewer fats if it is consumed in a large quantity in a day leads to accumulation of unnecessary fat and increase in the weight. b) heart diseases: it is rich in saturated fat consumption of large amount of saturated fat leads to many serious diseases .these saturated fat causes accumulation of fat in the blood vessels and obstructs easy blood flow in arteries. It leads to many heart problems. c) Cancer: consumption of high amount of this ca mg and phosphorous content increase the risk of prostate and ovarian cancer. This product contains insulin like growth factor these are cancer causing cells hence over consumption leads to cancer. This hormone levels causes prostate cancer. d) lactose intolerance: A person those who are suffering with lactose intolerance unable to digest this lactose content and leads to abdominal cramps gas and diarrhea. CONSIDERATIONS: every person should drink 2 cups of milk per each day to reach daily requirement of 1200 grams to maintain healthy bones teeth and healthy body if over consumption occurs it leads to many health problems.
