How to evolve to God ?
How to evolve to God to realize the state of “Ahm Brahmasmi (I am God)”? But before this you must know what your present reality is.
You have the limited ability of cognition, perception, distinction or discrimination, thinking and emoting. But when you cognize, perceive, distinct or discriminate, think or emote, your whole consciousness being limited gets absorbed totally in outside realities. You are not aware of yourself in the moment of cognition, perception, distinction or discrimination, thinking and emoting. When you are absorbed in these processes, in that moment you in fact cease to exist; you lose your entity. You just become a process, tool, instrument and just matter. This is the state of gross or low level of consciousness. You are just a little bit better than gross non-living matter. Gross non-living matters have totally limited and deterministic consciousness, while your consciousness is a little more non-deterministic, but still limited. But like non-living matter you also are a localized entity in this vast space-time continuum. This is the first level of existence having a certain limited range of cognition, perception, distinction or discrimination, thinking and emoting according to one’s level of consciousness. 99% of human race still exists at very this level of consciousness only. People existing at this level of existence may slightly differ from each other in the degree or range of their ability of cognition, perception, distinction or discrimination, thinking and emoting. But they all are similar in one aspect that their consciousness gets totally absorbed while being in the process of cognition, perception, distinction or discrimination, thinking and emoting. They are not aware of self.
Moreover, in this state of limited consciousness all the basic processes of cognition, perception, distinction or discrimination, thinking and emoting take place indirectly. They have indirect perception of reality in this primal state of consciousness.
What is the meaning of direct and indirect perception of reality? When a new born baby feels hungry, s/he is having direct perception of hunger without in terms of any language as s/he is not aware of any social language. But as a child grows, s/he loses the ability of having direct perception. We all grown up human beings have the ability of indirect perception only as we feel and express everything in terms of a social language. We don’t have the ability of having direct perception. When we feel hungry, we get a thought in our mind in terms of a social language that we are hungry.
Now there is a higher level of consciousness than the first level. Being aware of self is the higher level of consciousness. When you turn inside, when you involute, you become aware of your self. Being aware of self also has a range. When you are perfectly aware of yourself, in that state the indirect processes of cognition, perception, distinction or discrimination, thinking and emoting stop completely. All these things now happen directly. Now you have the direct perception of reality. Without thinking now you can think; without emoting now you can emote. When you have direct perception of reality, you have wider range of perception of reality in comparison to the perception of reality you have in the first state of indirect perception of apparent reality.
This second state of consciousness when you are aware of yourself is the beginning of the process of becoming Buddha. You have begun your journey to God. But even in this state there is a limitation. The limitation is that your consciousness is still localized.
As you keep evolving / involuting at this level, you evolve to the third and final state of consciousness. This is a state of Supreme-consciousness. This is the state of becoming God. Because when you exist in this state of consciousness, your consciousness is no more localized. It has become infinite and in this state of infinite consciousness the whole universe is within you. You pervade the entire existence, the whole cosmos, the whole manifested as well as still to be manifested reality. You expand till infinite, beyond the beyond, but still within the within of every bit of the existence. You become God, God becomes you. This is the state of infinite, ultimate bliss, ultimate ecstasy, ultimate beatitude, the pinnacle of existence. Lord Shiva, Buddha, Jesus and Allah all start dancing in your being and you dance and breathe in their being. In fact, in this state, words like ‘your’, ‘their’, ‘my’, ‘me’ etc become meaningless. This is the ultimate state of existence, ultimate bliss and beatitude, ultimate of all ultimates. Nothing of outside world whether it be pleasure of having all wealth, all money and powers of whole world, nothing can match the infinite bliss of this level of existence.
Whatever I have explained, this is neither just a fancy idea, nor just a theory. Anyone can evolve to this level of existence. If you are passionate to realize this level of consciousness without following any religious rite and rituality, you are welcome to me.
