How To Extend Financial Help When You Are Financially Broke Also

The wisdom of how my mother is able to help despite her difficulty has taught me a lot about helping. And I realize that financial difficulty is just a word, but your gratefulness will be the one who will push you to help. During my childhood days I often observe my mother giving financial assistance to her siblings and family friends despite the fact that we are financially broke. I do not see the wisdom of her good nature because I hated the fact that she is dolling out money for these people when she herself has to struggle to feed us. As I grew and had my own family as well I come to realize her nature and motivation for doing the good acts to these people. She thinks that the life she led although financially broke was able to feed her family and provide for their education. Her gratefulness sees beyond her financial difficulty but her thankfulness for the things she has and will have. All of us her children were able to graduate from college because of the good ‘karma’ my mother was able to live. And every time my siblings are asking for my help I can’t help but remember the way my mother view her life. She taught me that gratefulness must be always in my heart in order for me to give assistance whole heartedly and without hesitation. And I realize if I were financial broke would my siblings considered asking me? And I thank her wisdom because blessings keep pouring for people who knew how to help by heart. She doesn’t want to see her children experience the difficulty in life that’s why she always extends help because she thinks that by helping these people she is also helping her children. It might be a little confusing but when you become a parent no matter how you save for your children’s future there are circumstances in life that you have no hold of. And she sees beyond this that’s why she extends help because she believes that she is helping other parents as well when she does it. I shared here wisdom as well when I had my own son with me. When I see children who are hungry and abandoned I feel for the life they live. It pierces my heart to realize that it could have been my son if circumstances or fate dictates it. And if no one is there to help them, it could have been my son who is hungry and abandoned also. But because there are people like my mother who has the wisdom to give, these children still has hope and future. Financial difficulty is not a reason of not being able to help. There are people who have excesses in life yet they were unable to extend help. It’s not about having enough for yourself before you can help. It’s about being grateful for the things you have and the life you lead. And when you are grateful you always have the heart to help and give assistance. Everyone has something to give and share. It’s not always about money, sometimes the wisdom of life is enough to motivate and help other people who need it.
