How to Find a Quality Vaporizer at Reasonable Prices

Many people are finding out that vaporizers are a great alternative to smoking plant material whether that is tobacco or herbs. Not only does the plant material last longer, which saves you money in the long run; you don't get any of the carcinogens and toxins from the burning.

All well and good but some consumers are put off by the $500 (and up) price some retailers are charging for well-known vaporizers. How do you find quality vaporizers at a cheap price?

Like all things, it is possible to pay too little; you end up with low quality units that fall apart and provide a poor vaporizing experience. The problem with not paying enough is that the units are not well made. Often they are rip-offs of more established brands, and they smell from loose parts and poor construction. As a result, you end paying more in the long run.

Between the cheap knockoffs and the high-end desktop brands, there are a number of choices for you to consider. Handheld vaporizers that fit conveniently into a purse, pocket book or briefcase range anywhere from around $75 on the low end to $150 and a little more on the high-end, depending on the quality and features that are looking for. Handheld vaporizers operate either on a standard 110 V outlet like their desktop cousins, or a butane internal system, or even a regular battery inserted into the unit.

Along with quality handhelds, there are smaller table top versions that you can purchase from around $100 to $200 and more. One of the benefits is that they are extremely light, and are easily packed in a suitcase for a long business trip or vacation (or possibly a short weekend jaunt).

Probably the most popular style of this model is a hotbox look. Hot boxes look like what they sound like-- a small box that features a smaller element and a lighter, smaller wand used in conjunction. They are strong and light, and heat up reasonably quickly so you don't have to wait around to enjoy your vaporizing session.

Some very inexpensive tabletop vaporizers can be found at local shops. Investigate these with a critical eye as knock-offs products are rampant and quality is suspect. Try to deal with brands that you know and trust. Ask around and check with your friends to get a second opinion on your choices.
