How to gather the right information?

Gathering information prior to working is very important, but gathering the right information is like hitting a jackpot. Information is important for every type of business. And for logo designing business it is very important.
We normally gather information from the client. That is, through questionnaire and direct questioning. Although the framework is not that necessary but it’s considered essential for the logo designers. Because of the information, a good logo design can be made that can work for the company as well.
Though, you must have seen those logo designs that are not designed keeping the said company in focus and the results are disturbing and non productive.
So, it’s better to design that kind of logo design which can attract the public and impact the productivity phenomenon. And that can only be done by using the right kind of information.
Here, I will be describing the ways in which people can gather the right information to target the right audience, either by graphics, write-ups or any other way.
1. Just F**king Google It: Yes that’s what it is called. Google has tons of information on its servers. That in my own opinion accounts for more than 20peta bytes of information, which is processed by Google in a single day. And according to some internet sources Google has 1million servers and if every server has 10 Tera bytes of information than your guess is as good as mine!
2. Check them personally: Google can provide tons of information on one single topic but is not good at helping you with the concepts and information that is just according to your need. Of course Google can make your results precise and to the point but in the end it's you who have to decide if those results are worth it or not. And the best method to do that is by checking those results personally. And when it’s the site of the client, it's better to go through the whole site, in this way the photography logo maker will get a good idea if the site he is searching is the right one and the logo design online matches the description of the website.
3. Check the small details: Information is not only restricted to the website's homepage and other pages, you can get the information by small details like the banner design or the flyers of a company. And a good way of knowing the details of a company is by the way of robots. Check the meta tags and robot.txt if you can get your hands on it.
