There is no doubt about the fact that your food choice plays an important role in your sexual life; it affects your fertility level as well as conception. About one in 20 person is suffering from fertility problem. Whatever you are eating is having a direct impact on your quality and quantity of sperm count; if you do have a fertility problem then first of all you must check your diet. If your drinking and eating habits are poor then you must have to make change in that. Poor eating habits and heavily drinking habits are having a negative effect on quality and quantity of sperm count.
A balanced diet and healthy lifestyle can boost up the quality of sperm count. Healthy diet plays a lot to improve the quality of sperm. Low sperm count can lead to infertility. If you make a diet of junk food and fast food, and you’re probably not doing your fertility a favour. If you are having good diet then you’re likely enhancing your fertility. To get healthy sperm count one must go for fertility friendly diet which is the best way to get pregnancy. Males should follow some other instructions just like not to take heavy alcohol, not to wear tight undergarments, synthetic material must be avoided, testis must be saved from heat, hot tub bath must be avoided, excessive ejaculation and long abstinence must be avoided, smoking must be avoided (there has been a lot of cases seen where sperm count has been decreased in case of smokers), these are few things if you take care of these things then there is less chances of infertility.
Sperm count measures how many sperm are in a man's ejaculate. Anything over 20 million sperm per ml is considered normal. A sperm count less than 20 million per ml is called oligospermia. Men who get moderate amounts of exercise have better motility than men who are less or more physically active. If you have a documented sperm count issue, then timing intercourse and regulating the frequency of sex (to around three day intervals) may be advised. Soy products must be avoided as it decreases sperm count.
Sperm only contributes to five percent of the total semen volume. The rest is made up of fluids and nutrients that protect the sperm in their travel. Lubricants, lotions, and saliva all result in decreased sperm motility. Sperm can only swim forward, not backwards. Healthy men make 70-150 million sperm a day. Masturbation should be avoided in case of low sperm count as it is not good in case of infertility. Nearly 60 percent cases of infertility are having the history of masturbation or premature ejaculation in case of male, so by getting away from this health benefits can also be gained. It is also helpful in getting high sperm count sperm count. Regular exercise is also a big part of a healthy lifestyle and will reduce stress hormones that may damage sperm. Getting in shape is good idea for fertility in general for both women and men.
