3. Do not let 10 weeks of working out pass without giving yourself one week rest.

If you want to get bigger, then the best thing that you can do is continually challenge yourself to do more reps and lift heavier weights each time you go back to the gym. In order for your muscles to increase in size and capacity, be disciplined enough to stick with the resolution of increasing the intensity of each of your sessions.
This also means not being contented with just one kind of workout.

Use Big and Compound Exercises

Big and compound exercises are great ways to take care of your question of how to gain muscle. Examples are chin ups, squats, and dead lifts. For faster muscle growth, best avoid isolation exercises.

Eat as Much as Your Body Requires

Increasing your food intake does not equate increasing your bad food consumption. Stay away from food that contain a lot of artificial sugars, sodium, and trans fat. Stick with food made with organic ingredients whether they are lean meat, poultry, eggs, fish, fruits, or vegetables.

Allow Your Body Time to Heal

Increasing your muscle mass means training diligently and patiently. This will equate to more strain applied to your body so it is vital that you give it time to heal. Increasing your body weight by getting more muscles should not be equal to your causing yourself more harm than good.
