We all have adversity at times in our lives. The thing is to face it, deal with it, then let it go.

If you can fight off depression and any feelings of discouragement that can emerge in life, you will have a much better chance at attaining your goals.
Yes, it takes hard work, discipline, dedication, a true desire, a lot of help and some luck to reach the top, but a willingness to overcome adversity is most important.
Aim high! Don't be afraid to set big goals in life. To be successful, you have to be able to see success ahead of you. It doesn't matter if it's something small, like losing weight, or getting in shape at the gym; you have to envision yourself doing it. See the results in your mind.
Once you set a big goal in your mind you can break it up into lots of smaller goals that can be accomplished in much less time. Reaching these stepping stone goals will keep you on track as you inch closer and closer to your main goal.
Be positive! The biggest enemy of success is negativity. I know we can't control the whole world, but we can control our own individual state of mind.
Always focus on the positive side of a situation. (Can't find one, search till you do!) When everything is at the darkest, that's when you have to be positive. It's easy to be positive when everything is going your way.
Program yourself! Every time you have a negative thought, consciously turn it around to a positive one. Eventually you won't have to force it. Don't harp on the mistakes you made in the past. You are just enforcing the negative.
Remember the times you were successful, how sweet it was! Look to repeat that success. In order to succeed we all need encouragement.
Nobody there, you say. Do it yourself!
