One of the problems that many businesses face is the fact that they become somewhat stagnant. Unfortunately, this can cause them to lose a degree of success that they may have at one time enjoyed. There are some things that can be done, however, which can help to increase the success of the business and can continue to make it grow on a regular basis as well. Here are a few suggestions that you may be able to incorporate into your business if you have not yet done so.

One of the things that you may want to consider is keeping in regular contact with those who are already your customers. There is a rule that is known as the 80/20 rule, in which 80% of your business comes from 20% of your customers. If you have not yet experienced this for yourself, it is because you are not doing enough to keep in regular contact with your customers. The fact of matter is, there are many different ways in which you can maintain that contact including through email, as well as through social media. Make sure that you incorporate these into your business and you will find that it is growing at a faster pace.

Another thing that you can do in order to contact your customers regularly and grow your business is to incorporate the use of some type of survey software. There are many different survey tools that are available, some of which are online and others that run on your own computer. Running surveys can not only help you to contact your customers and to keep in touch with them regularly, it can also introduce you to new ideas for products which will be of interest to your customers as well. The right types of tools are going to walk you through the process and help you to be able to make the most out of it.

While we are on the subject of surveys, it is also a good idea to use the same software to survey your employees as well. This is important, as you would want to have happy employees that are satisfied with what you have to offer. One of the suggestions that I can give to you in this regard is to make sure that anonymity is an option. Your employees are going to be more likely to give the honest feedback that you desire if they are not putting their signature on the form. Just be aware, there are going to be some rather blunt comments that come back to you, take them with a grain of salt and use them to keep your employees happy.

There are additional ways that you can also keep in touch with your customers as well. These include mailing them information as well as by picking up the telephone to contacting them directly. Although it may take more time and a little bit more money in order for you to contact your customers in that way, some may respond to the more personal form of contact.
