However, companies with glowing CSR policies can benefit immensely from social media. Some of the advantages of the social media include an increased awareness for the brand, increase in sales, brand management, and advertising. However, it is essential that a company keep its records clean to avoid any issues that can dent its image on social media. The social media marketing tools have been successfully used by many companies to gain popularity and increase sales online, says Deshawn Smith. However, it has not worked for all companies that used the strategies. So it is essential to find out if social media is the best option for your marketing campaign. Through the social media, brands have to find ways to give more to the society as well as expose the opportunities companies have to benefit from their numerous promotions.
