If you are ready to drop some pounds and shed the fat from your body, then you have undoubtedly heard of counting calories. This is a viable way to keep track of what you eat, and does work to drop pounds, but it can become insanely tedious and very hard to keep track of. Instead of the traditional calorie counting, I want to introduce you to a new way to look at things. Like calorie counting, you'll end up eating less every day, but you won't have to keep track of all those numbers. It's a much easier way to lose fat and drop down to the weight your body should naturally be. I need to preface this article by saying that you have to eat healthy to achieve any kind of results. It is similar to counting calories in that you have to be eating healthy calories to lose weight. So if you eat 500 less calories than usual, but it's just been twinkies, it won't help your situation much. That said, here's what you should start doing if calories have you bummed and frazzled. Look at your hunger as a scale from 0-10. 0 means you are very hungry and your stomach is completely empty. A 10 means that you ate way too much and are over filled (think Thanksgiving). Around 5 is when you are satisfied. From now on, every time you eat, think of your hunger level and write down what you start eating at, and what you end at. So if you start eating when you're just a little hungry, and end a bit too full, it may look something like this: 3-8. You started at a 3 and ended at an 8. The ultimate goal is to stay between 0 and 5 all day long. Try not to eat until you're pretty hungry, then eat enough to be satisfied (not over full, but not hungry either). Note: You will mess up, it's a given. So just be honest and track your eating as accurately as possible. Writing it down on paper will encourage you to keep going and start eating less than usual. If you stay within a 0 and 5 all the time, you will naturally drop your weight to where you naturally should be. If you throw in some intense workouts along with this, you'll see quick results, and never have to count a single calorie! Movement is one of the most honest forms of self-connection. The body never lies. It holds stress, records emotion, and reveals when something feels off. For many, this is why exercise has always been more than fitness; it’s therapy through motion. But not all movement heals. Some styles exhaust, others distract. True healing often begins in the slow, intentional kind, the kind that lets the body lead and the mind follow.rnThat’s where precision-based training, such as re
