How do I lose quick weight? That is what most over weight people want to know. But most of the time all those diets that will help to shed the pounds rapidly isn’t the best way. Because almost all of the diets involves you to starve your body.
In order to lose weight you need to do some lifestyle changes, and doing something that you can keep doing for the rest of your life. And starvation isn’t a good method for that.
Diet and Exercise
In order to lose weight and keep it off, you need to have a good diet to follow and a good exercise plan. You are going to need both. What’s the point of running 20 miles if you just put the weight back on again with your usual fat-inducing food?
And like I said earlier you need to find a diet that you can follow for the rest of your life. Don’t even bother trying those programs that promise that you will lose like 15 pounds a week or something. Sure you can lose a lot of weight with it, but you can also hurt your body while you’re doing it. And after you stop with the diet, you will just gain all the weight back again.
With exercise I would recommend you to check out kettlebell training. It is a quite new method of training. And if you don’t know what kettlebells is, it is like a cannonball with a handle on it. And a normal kettlebell program for 40 minutes can burn up to 1200 calories. So I advice you to check it out.
3 Weight Loss Tips
1. Exercise
Like I already said, you are going to need to do exercise, try to get in at least three forty minutes workout a week, where you workout hard. But don’t think that you just can sit on the sofa and do nothing on the other 4 days of the week. You should try to get at least 15-20 minutes of exercise on those days. And that can be just going out for a walk for 15 minutes. Just be active for 15-20 minutes.
And don’t tell me that you don’t have time to do it. Everyone has time to do it. You just have to prioritize it. If you have a 30 minute lunch, and you are done in maybe 10-15 minutes. Don’t sit and talk to your work buddies the rest of the time. Go out and take a walk, and then you have done your 15-20 minutes a day.
2. Drinking Water
Almost every person is drinking to little water. You should drink at least 8 big glasses of water each day. Keeping your body hydrated will help you to burn fat, and you will feel better and get better skin.
3. Sleeping
Sleeping is also very important in order to lose weight. You should sleep 6-8 hours each night. Because the amount of sleep you get each day significantly affects the two hormones that is controlling the appetite in your body. Those two hormones are Grehlin and Leptin. Grehlin is a hormone in the body that enhances appetite, and there for it can cause weight gain. Leptin on the other hand is a hormone that represses appetite, and can therefore support your weight loss.
And if you are not getting enough sleep it will disturb the hormone balance in your body. It will also lead to an increase in Grehlin and it will decrease in Leptin. So this will lead to weight gain.
