Muffins are a routine of everyday life. They are among the most common or even good breakfast foods as snacks from time to time. This leaves many people wondering how they can make this delicious gift for themselves. Bagels take a little patience and time to make, but in the end, it's a rewarding experience for those who struggle.

For this project, the following ingredients will be necessary:

2 teaspoons of instant yeast
3 teaspoons of dark brown sugar
1 1/2 cups of water at room temperature
1 tablespoon of salt
4 cups of bread flour
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1/2 Cup of cornmeal and flour to sprinkler
Make the bunr
Start by mixing the yeast with the brown sugar and water in a large bowl. Stir while adding sugar and flour, while making sure the flour is fully hydrated. When everything is well mixed, place it on a sprinkled counter and knead for about five to seven minutes. Keep in mind that it is better to knead more than not enough, so if five to seven minutes doesn't seem like enough, do it for an additional couple of minutes. Put it back in the container and cover it, leaving it intact for two hours.

Sprinkle a cutting board with flour and place the dough on it. Use a knife and cut the portions evenly into four ounces each. Mold each into a ball and let it sit for five minutes. Drill through the center to create the hole. Rotate the dough around the hole until it is the desired size. Cover when complete and let them rest in the fridge ove

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees and sprinkle a baking sheet with cornmeal and flour. Get a wide pot and fill it 2/3 full with water. Place the muffins there, making sure they don't touch each other, simmering for two minutes. Turn and boil on the other side for 1 1/2 minutes. This should make them firm and puffy. Let them drain on a wire rack to cool for one minute and then immediately place them on the tray and bake for fifteen minutes.

Once done, rotate the blade 90 degrees and continue to bake for five minutes or as long as it takes for them to brown. In an instant-read thermometer, the muffins should read 185 degrees when ready. https://www.bageltime.ca/

Tips

This is the recipe for a simple, plain and average bagel. Not everyone likes a plain and simple bagel. Try adding certain ingredients that may appear on bagels at the bakery, such as poppy seeds or raisins. Go a step further and add something that is not usually found in ordinary bakeries. This can include chocolate chips, blueberries, or whatever combination your heart desires. As long as there is a creative mind in the kitchen, anything is possible.
