Do you want to begin your journey as an affiliate marketer? There are many methods out there that teach how to make passive income, but not all of them are proven to work. Sit back and relax as I share with you a proven step-by-step system that you can use to get started. Without any delay, let me begin.

The first step which you need to achieve is to choose a niche. As an affiliate marketer, you can earn a commission for sales made through your affiliate link, and these products are most likely available in almost every niche you can possibly think of. I suggest you choose an evergreen niche, which means a niche where there is always a supply of customers. That way, you can be ensured of customers for that particular product. This is vital for making passive income.

Once you have decided on a niche, you need to start by doing some keyword research for your website. This is where you have to search for keywords that have high search volumes and low competition. Keyword research is important if you want to be found in the search engine results page, so do take time to research on a list of keywords for your website.

Now that you have your niche and a list of keywords for your list, you can begin by building your website. I highly recommend that you build a squeeze page so that you can collect leads. Many internet marketers say that the money is in the list, and that is how to make passive income. Sign up for an autoresponder and create a simple squeeze page, and when I say simple, I mean plain, ugly and simple. You do not want your squeeze page to be too flashy or colorful because that will distract the visitor. The main aim of the squeeze page is to collect leads, and testing has shown that a plain and simple squeeze page usually has a high opt-in rate.

While you are building your squeeze page, you will also want to write some follow up messages in your autoresponder. This is where you promote your offer to your subscribers. This is also where you want to build rapport with your list. It is easier for people to buy from you if they can trust you.

Once all that is done and you have published your website, you need to drive traffic to your website on a consistent basis. No matter how good a website is, it will not serve its purpose if it does not get any traffic.

By now I hope you have a better understanding of how to make passive income. I wish you success in your business ventures.
