If you’re looking for the perfect gift for the man in your life – whether it’s a husband, boyfriend, brother, son or uncle – look no further than men’s jewelry. One of the hottest new trends in men’s fashion, jewelry accessories are becoming just as popular with men as they’ve always been with women. Before you begin to shop for men’s jewelry, remember to take into consideration your guy’s tastes and what kind of wear and tear he’ll put the jewelry through so you can choose the right material that will withstand your man’s lifestyle. Once you begin to browse through the incredible selection at local jewelry stores and online, you’ll realize just how “hot” this men’s jewelry trend really is!
  • Men’s Bracelets: Men and women both have been ado ing themselves with bracelets of all kinds since the dawn of mankind. Dating as far back as 5000 BCE, Ancient Egyptians fashioned bracelets out of materials such as stones, wood and bones. Although they’re quite different than the ancient jewelry, today’s bracelets for men are also made out of a variety of materials. Many of the contemporary metals are particularly popular, such as stainless steel, tungsten carbide, titanium and ceramic. One characteristic that these bracelets share is their striking, masculine style – such as a sleek, titanium bracelet with a hammered-finish silver ID centerpiece.
  • Men’s Pendants: Another popular piece of men’s jewelry that’s been around for countless centuries is the pendant. In fact, necklaces predate almost every other form of jewelry. Even cavemen in prehistoric times strung attractive stones and bones on vines and wore them around their necks! Although the styles and designs of today’s necklaces for men have come a long way since the days of the caveman, one of the most popular fashions in modern-day men’s pendants actually harkens back to those prehistoric times. Tribal design, most commonly inspired by antler or flame shapes, is a distinctly masculine style of jewelry. One fine example is a black stainless steel cross pendant that incorporates a tribal motif.
  • Cuff Links: Once thought to be a fashion statement strictly from the 1950s and 1960s, cuff links have reemerged on the men’s fashion scene in the last several years. A few short decades ago, a man wasn’t considered well dressed unless he included a classy pair of cuff links as one of his fashion accessories. However, in the 1970s – as dress shirts with buttoned cuffs became increasingly popular – cuff links fell by the wayside. At that time, only the most formal men’s dress shirts came without buttoned cuffs, so the jewelry that was once so popular on every man’s wrist virtually disappeared with the exception of formal occasions like weddings. In recent years, however, all that has changed. Today, more and more shirt manufacturers are producing dress shirts with “French cuffs” (or cuffs without buttons). So the cuff link has returned to the men’s fashion scene. As is the case with bracelets, pendants and all other types of men’s jewelry, you’ll find an amazing variety of cuff links available – many of which incorporate designs that reflect your man’s occupation or hobby. Consider, for example, a set of gold cuffs links with a nautical anchor design. No matter what type of material or style you’re looking for, you’re sure to find it in the amazing selection of men’s jewelry available in jewelry stores and through reputable online jewelry retailers. In addition to the selection, there’s another nice surprise waiting for you – the prices are remarkably reasonable!
From the outdoorsman to the corporate executive, there’s a perfect piece of men’s jewelry to suit every man on your shopping list this holiday season. Now that you’re armed with some helpful information, the only thing left to do is to start shopping!
