If you are going to complete your graduation from IT or Computer Science and consider a career in tech companies, it will be an advantage for you to achieve your goals. But an interview is the utmost barrier that you need to clear to get your job and become a tech-professional. So, for all the aspirants who look ahead to work in tech companies, need to read the below points to nail the technical interview and make it to your dream job. Have a Deal Breaker Communication Skills: You won’t believe that most of the jobs are confirmed on the basis of their communication skills along with their technical knowledge. If you are good at communicable skills, you can easily understand/communicate the point to your senior/client, building a better platform for the business. Also, your presence of mind with added to good communication skills gives more weightage to your selection. Be Prepared for Whiteboard: Not every company call you for the whiteboard, but some of them still believe it as an effective way of filtering technical candidates. Practice is the utmost option to clear the whiteboard and ensure your selection. Before you go for the interview, you should undergo practice queries and make your points clear. Read the Job Listing Thoroughly: Most of the time, you are even asked about the job you have applied for. Hence you should know what the organization has asked in a candidate and at what level you find yourself. You should instead read the job listing and determine whether you deserve this job or not. Applying with no reason is completely wastage of time, which you should avoid. Clear Your Basics and Core Concepts: For fresher candidates, the technical interview is more about the basic knowledge of the language and the core concepts needed to build a piece of code. So, you should go through the technical knowledge before you attend any tech-interview and try to deliver the best of your answers to the interviewer. Bring Your Portfolio: Fresher always have this hurdle during the interview i.e. they need to share their portfolio. If you have written any tech-code, you should definitely showcase it in front of the interviewer. This will not only add points to your selection but will also reveal your technical knowledge which the company is hunting. In all, point 3 is the most important part that you should prepare before going for your interview. However, all other points are also important to impress the interviewer and get a job confirmation.
