We all do it! Ordering those nachos, hamburger or greasy french fries is just irresistible sometimes. And the burning begins!
Heartbu
happens to most people at some point in their lives. If you experience heartbu
2-3 times per week, you should consult with your doctor.
But, if you want to try some natural remedies first, the following suggestions are things you can do to reduce heartbu
naturally.
Things you'll need:
- Ginger Tea Bag or fresh, shredded Ginger
- Almonds
- 1 Whole Clove
- Reflexology Chart
- Lemons Slices
- Baking Soda
- 1 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1. Ginger Tea can be prepared by adding 1 cup hot water to 1 individual bag of Ginger Tea or fresh Ginger. This does not have to be sweetened, however, you can add 1 tablespoon of honey, if desired. Do not use sugar. Then add 1 whole clove. Sip slowly. This is great natural heartbu
reducer.
2. If that does not work, try drinking a small glass (4 oz.) of water(no ice) with the juice of 3 Slices of lemon (you can also eat the citrus part of the lemon) or 1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar. This is a great way to reduce heartbu
naturally.
3. Try eating a handful of almonds. The unsalted almonds are the best. Eat slowly. There is something about the oil in the almonds that helps to reduce heartbu
naturally.
4. If none of these work, try 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 6-8 teaspoons water. It tastes awful, but it works. For many years, this has been used to reduce heartbu
naturally and reduce symptoms of reflux.
5. Try some reflexology trigger points. Massage the middle part of the sole of the foot. This is where the reflex points for the stomach, gallbladder, pancreas and intestines are located. Massage 2-3 minutes for about 1 hour.
6. You can also try acupressure massage. Add sustained pressure and light massage to the area directly in the middle of the breastbone and belly button. Press no longer than 2 minutes. Do not do acupressure massage if you are pregnant or have a hernia.
7. Try eating a few carbohydrate-rich meals using beans, rice or pasta rather than having any meat.
Limiting the grease from your daily diet is the best way to eliminate heartburn. Choose salmon, shrimp or lean baked chicken.
Your tummy will thank you!
