Maybe you have a party you want to look your best for, or perhaps you are going to a high school reunion and want to look amazing, but you'll often find yourself thinking about healthy rapid weight loss. Sometimes, although we do our best to eat and exercise in healthy fashions, we find ourselves letting our regimens go, and just when we need to look our best, we find that we've put on more pounds than we want to! While keeping in mind that you can only healthily lose 2 pounds in one week, you'll find that there are a few tips that you can use to trim down some of that troublesome pudge!

Drink lots of water

When you are thinking of healthy rapid weight loss, the very first thing that you need to consider is how much water you've been drinking. Chances are good that you are spending at least a little bit of time dehydrated, and you want to fix that ASAP! While you may have heard about water weight, you'll find that your body retains water when it feels that there isn't enough available. Make sure that you are drinking lots of water because it will also help your body process the nutrients and wastes with a great deal more efficiency.

Eat fresh!

When you are looking for a way to lose weight and fast, take out any processed food. You'll find that when food is processed, it undergoes procedures that will strip it of a great deal of the nutritional value, leaving a great deal of salt and essentially encouraging you to eat more. These empty calories are problematic to your waistline, so take some time to find a good source of organic foods that will fill you up and give you the nutrients that you need as well as the energy you need to exercise.

Don't starve yourself

Though it might seem counterintuitive, make sure that you don't start skipping meals. You do need to kick-start your metabolism, so make sure you start off with a healthy breakfast that is high in fiber and good-for-you sugars. Take some time to make sure that you eat often; you may find that you are eating more often, but the important thing is to eat healthily, even if you end up eating more.

Take some time to really think about what you want, and don't forget that even if you are interested in healthy rapid weight loss, you should realize that this can be a great way to springboard to healthier eating in general.
