OK so, you have a website right? Is it getting tons of traffic? You know, the type of traffic that generates $5,000.00, 10,000.00 or even $20,000 per month. Well, if you do have a website and it's not getting this type of traffic, chances are, you are looking for a few ways to get your website to this point. There are tons of ways to market a website just like there are tons of ways to market any other type of business. However, as with any other product or service, the best way to market it is to insure that it shows up in the search engines for all keywords possible. This leads many people to ask, "How do I optimize my website for search?". Here are a few things you can do: Update Content Often Have you heard the term, "Content is King"? If you have been doing your research on showing up in search engines, I'm sure that you have! The simple fact is that search engines love seeing something new on your website on a weekly, daily or even hourly basis. By updating your content often, you are giving the search engine spiders more and more content to read, building more and more relevance to more and more keywords and ultimately getting more and more visits! Build Links To be honest, most of the keyword relevance that you will build to your website is built through the process of building links. Each link pointing to your website counts as a vote of sorts. The more you have, the higher you will rank in search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, ect... To build links, simply write informative articles like this one and link to your website at the bottom like you see I have. Socialize Finally, you want to socialize. Join social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and Google Plus! Make friends by finding those with similar interests and make sure to link to all of your new pages and articles through your social profiles. This will build brand awareness and cause people to search for your website name telling the search engines that your website is important. Also, the link value to your articles bleeds through them to your website. Not to mention all the links to the new pages in your website that you have created! I hope that this article will help you get your website to the $20,000.00 per month as I know the advice has created similar results for me!
