Many people come into the world with no direction at all. Some come with a powerful feeling of what they need to do. So how does a person overcome this feeling of floundering in life?

First, there needs to be put in place rituals which ground a person and help them feel at peace. And if a person is coming from a family that doesn’t have any rituals at all… this can be challenging… but it can be done. Having set ways of living creates contentment and allows a person to notice how the Universe unfolds like a beautiful flower. Meditation, chanting, prayer, and saying a personal name of God over and over again create peace.

Take, for instance, a young lady who didn’t get much attention as a child. Her parents were always too busy running here and there for work. So she always had anxiety deep down inside because she felt like something was missing. But when she started learning yoga and meditation all that disappeared… and she felt at peace… and life started falling in place for her. She became a yoga instructor, married and had three boys, and loved her life.

Secondly, people have to know that everything happens for a reason. There are no accidents and thus we are being tested in order to grow strong. So it’s important to be OK with whatever comes our way. Knowing that God, the Universe, and Great Spirit are making us stronger… so we can handle challenges.

Take, for instance, an older woman in her 80’s who was always worried. It wasn’t until she got close to her time to pass across that she finally understood that everything happens for a reason… thus she was a peace. I guess it’s never too late to learn this valuable lesson.

Thirdly, exploring our soul is of utmost importance. We have to try new things, spread our wings, and see what connects with our heart. Many times people are too afraid to try something new. Or they have tried something and failed and because of that… they never try again. But exploration is just what we need to fill the void and get rid of anxiety.

Take, for instance, a young man who worked in his father’s grocery store as a checker. But deep down inside he really wanted to be a pilot. But his father wanted him to take over the business one day… so he put his dreams aside. But one day his father and he got into a big fight, and he decided to explore, so he went up with a flight instructor for a test flight and he was hooked. From there he got his pilots license and eventually started flying charter flights. He loves being a pilot and enjoys life. So two things happened here, the fight with his father was a good thing in the long run, and spreading his wings and exploring was important.

So remember to have rituals in your life.

Remember everything happens for a reason.

Allow yourself to explore.

And your anxiety will soon disappear.

Many Blessings to Everyone!
