First let me say that I am of the opinion that "peels USE solutions above 10% should not be done at home. In most states, beauticians authorized to glycolic acid, lactic acid and other shells alphahydroxy force by 30%. They can also use a Jessner peel to a level of 14%, and can use up to 3 layers. trichloroacetic acid (TCA) should be performed by a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Use a licensed professional who has experience with chemical peels. serious consequences may occur.
Customers who want a professional chemical exfoliation / peel stronger than 10% should be using 8% -10% Peel solution at home for two weeks prior to the receipt and chemical peels higher. They must also use a night cream with Retin-A (vitami
A) as an ingredient. Good preparation will give you the best results and will delight your customers. Remember that "prior planning prevents poor performance."
Please refer to the Fitzpatrick scale and if the customer is an ideal candidate for a chemical peel. Allow the customer to read and sign an informed consent form y. This is very important. NO HARD ON TYPES FITZPATRICK PELA VI, V or VI. He also knows that his-cons before making a peel. Do not scrub the chemical inflammation, irritated or broken skin. The best advice I can give is: "When in doubt ... NO".
That said, let's begin.
1. Remove make-up: In general, the best option is a milk cleanser placed on gauze or a cotton ball and crawled through the skin. Repeat until the makeup is removed. Do not use Vaseline, because the occlusive properties.
2. Clean the skin: The esthetician should clean the skin with warm water and a mild skin cleanser, but effective. This cleaner should not be too serious, but strong enough to remove dirt, grime and sebum (oil). I recommend a foaming cleansing gel or oily skin types, combined and the problem, because surfactants help break the oil. For dry, sensitive skin, I recommend a cream or cleansing milk. Wash skin with warm water several times, and pat dry skin. DO NOT rub.
3. To remove the fat layer of the skin: this step is to strip the oil from the skin by applying either 70%, 90% isopropyl alcohol or acetone to the skin with gauze or cotton ball. Be careful when using 90% isopropyl alcohol and acetone, because they are very drying. I usually use 90% of oily skin types and acetone or a combination. Remove fat from the skin peel solution allows the introduction of more evenly than a shell solution does not need to cut the sebum. Let the solution evaporate away completely before moving on to step 4.
4. The treatment is being prepared for the skin: This is a crucial step in performing chemical peels. There is nothing worse than being unprepared. Make sure you have either a product available to neutralize the hand or a bowl of fresh water mixed with about 3 to 4 tablespoons of baking soda (sodium hydroxide). Each of these products will be a life saver if something goes wrong. That neutralize the chemical peel solution, helping to prevent further damage to the skin. Prepare tablets eye with a cotton swab butterfly standard or large round eyes soak in fresh water. Use a cotton swab to put a small amount of petroleum jelly near the back of the eye and upper eyelid. This will prevent the peeling solution to be absorbed. Place the electrodes in the view of client protection. The client's hand and a portable fan on again. The fan to relieve the discomfort that the chemical peeling agent is applied to the skin.
Now you are ready to apply the chemical peeling agent.
5. Apply the peeling agent: After ensuring that the eyes of customers are protected, start applying the peeling agent. Use gauze or peeling of large Q-tip to apply the solution. In general, you should start at the front and slide through. Then go through the nose and around the cheeks and chin. Use a small cotton swab saturated with the solution of the shell to fall below the eyes.
