Are you trying to build your network marketing business, but just don't know how? Does your upline keep telling you just talk to more people? Are you frustrated that you're not getting anywhere? Does this sound like you: "Somebody, anybody please, please pretty-please join my business"!!! Today I want to chat with you about recruiting. How do you do it? Your upline is most likely telling you to go out and talk to everyone you know about your network marketing opportunity. Then they'll tell you when you're done doing that to go out and find more people to talk to about it. The implication is that if you talk to enough people for long enough, you'll eventually find people who are willing to join you and your downline will grow. I suppose that makes a certain amount of sense, but it's always left me a bit unsatisfied. I understand the importance of finding lots and lots of people to talk to about my business, but I've always wondered why I always felt like I was begging people to join me. Sure, I might eventually add some warm bodies to my downline, but what good does that do me? Now, Dean and I use the attraction marketing principles of Mike Dillard and the generic marketing system of MyLeadSystemPro to build our business. They're both great programs and we wouldn't build our business any other way. If you're not familiar with attraction marketing it basically means that you put your energy, resources, and time into building relationships with people that you help be successful upfront. You don't spam your primary opportunity out there and hope to stumble on the right people. I had a thought yesterday about the way many network marketers, especially newbies go about trying to recruit. You go out and try to get anyone and everyone to agree to join you. It doesn't matter who they are, what their background is, if they're a current or potential leader or if they're someone you even want to work with. Often times their only qualifications are that they have a pulse and are willing to join you. How crazy is that? You can have 100 people in your downline but if none of them produce, you still don't make a dime! So why are you so focused on getting just anyone to join you? If you're out there spamming your business opportunity all over the place, then that's exactly what you're trying to do. You're hoping to get anyone who's willing to accept your offer to sign up. If this sounds like you, you're just pretending to run a business and you're not doing yourself any favors. It's understandable and not your fault because that's the way you were taught to do it. But it does not benefit you or the long term success of your business. Dean and I get more people approaching us by pitching their business before they even know who we are, what we're about or if we're even worth their time. The message we get from them is that they don't give a flyin' flip about us before we join them. So there's no reason for us to think they'll give any more of a flyin' flip about us once we're on their team. If I'm a leader, why would I want to work with someone like that? If the leaders are turned off by that approach, then all your left with is the dead weight that will drag your organization down to utter failure. Why would you want to do that? If you want to get people coming to you instead of begging people to join you check this system out now: My Lead System Pro I hope that was helpful. Thank You for tuning in.
