Trojan and through the browser exploits which includes plugins such as java. Virtumondo comprises of two components first one is browser helper object and second one is class ID. The browser helper object and class ID both are the part of Window registry under HKEY LOCAL MACHINE. These files are dynamic in nature. Vundo creates registry entries to suppress warnings shown by Window about the firewall being disabled and also disabled the antivirus automatic updates. Vundo also quickly disables the automatic updates if it is set to update manually. The symptoms of Vundo infection are like popping up the advertisement which may says you need to fix system "deterioration". It changes the desktop background and may also change the screen saver. Vundo infect the DLLs which may let led your computer system to malfunction, but there is no need to panic this Vundo Trojan horse can be easily remove from your computer system.
Steps to be followed to remove Vundo from your computer
Step 1
Click on the start menu, then you will have to click on the run option there you have to type regedit and hit the enter button which will run the Registry editor.
Step 2
Click on the plus (+) sign on the left side of HKEY_CURRENT_USER then click on software, Microsoft internet explorer, Right-click on the last string, "State," and select "Delete." Click "Yes" then confirm the removal.
Step 3
Now close the registry editor.
Step 4
Unregistering the DLL. To do this go to the start menu click on the run, in the space type cmd to start the command and hit the enter button. There Type "regsvr32 /u vzbb.dll" to unregister the DLL press the enter button. The DLL is now unregistered.
Step 5
To find Vundo files and delete it. Go to the start menu there click on the search box, then type this words vzbb.dll and press enter. Right-click on the found files and select "Delete." Then click "Yes" in the pop-up screen to confirm removal. Now all the Vundo files are manually deleted.
Step 6
Restart the computer. Note that before doing the above steps, first you have to create the backup copy of the registry because here you are editing the registry to remove the Vundo from your computer. If anything thing went wrong it might led your computer system to crash down.
