Do you want to save but felt like depriving yourself from the things you wanted? The feeling of deprivation is what we usually felt when we change our usual money-spending habit into wise saving. Financial advisors always give advice to people to allocate savings even if your debt is more than the amount you received every pay day. Why, because if you focus the outflow of your resources for debt payments, the effect would be additional debt. A simple ratio of 30:50:20 is what you needed, meaning your first allocation is 30% for savings, 50% for household and other basic needs and the 20% for debt payments. When you had the 30% savings, you can always use this for your emergency needs or when the need for money arises of which you can’t rely on other sources. Now the question would be can you really save when your income is only meager? Yes it’s always possible. Debit Card instead of credit CardrnCredit card is good for those who have no buying impulse. But for people whose whim is to shop without minding the source for payment must think twice now. When you use your credit card you have the tendency to over limit your shopping. But when you use your debit card what you usually spend is enough for what you needed and wanted. Credit card is very helpful for your financial need but when you do use it always put a limit to how much you can spend for a month based on your budget. Credit card company limit is good but your own credit limit is better. Divert your AttentionrnOften the cause for spending beyond your budget is the thought that you have sources. When you are at home you usually observe the things that you wanted to buy to replace old ones. Or when you are the outgoing type you usually have the impulse to take unplanned vacation, night out and or shopping in malls. And when it thus happen, either you hop on to the nearest shop to buy or to book for the most convenient flight. You take action beyond the idea of saving. In order to repulse your action you can take a diversion from these impulses. When you are at home instead of observing what you wanted to buy in order to change your home ambiance, you can divert your attention to re-arranging your furniture or cleaning your old things in order to make them look new and fresh again. When you have the impulse to go out don’t take your credit card with you. Instead bring cash that amounts to the budget you can spend for the day and divert your attention to other activities that will take away your focus from the expensive things around you. When you begun saving you will realized how important it will be. You will become enthusiastic and inspired to save more and earn more because you can see that the figure in your bank account is building up. It only needs your determination and wise spending attitude to make your saving plan successful.
