How to Setup ADB (Android Debug Bridge) on Windows

Follow the on screen prompts and wait for the drivers to be installed. Do not close any window while the installation is going on. When the installation has finished, exit all the windows. Now plug your Android phone into your Windows computer using the USB cable. When prompted with a new hardware installation message, select drivers from the android-sdk/usb_driver folder. Follow the prompts and complete updating and installation. Now your Android phone will start appearing under ADB Interface in the Device Manager application. Besides, ADB will appear there in the android-sdk/tools folder. If the new hardware found wizard doesn’t open after plugging the phone in, go to Device Manager and locate the drivers under there.
