This month I promised to write more about how to shift your energy to better serve yourself and those around you. One of my clients wrote the following letter that made me blush... and shared her story of how this works for her. I cannot think of a better way to share with you how shifting energy in and around your body can serve.

Hi Carol,

I loved your Thoughts this month ;-)

I wanted to share a story with you.

Last week I spent a week rock climbing and mountaineering in the Bugaboos. The Bugaboos is a magical place that is full of spires, glaciers, rock and snow! It is a very remote destination and requires a lot of hard work to get there.

We spent a few days mountaineering, and then one day climbing. I climbed the hardest climb of my life! It was a 600-meter granite crack climb.

I did however have a bad fall, which caused an injury in my knee. The pain was so intense that I actually had a full body convulsion! I was 400 meters off the ground hanging from a rope and was about to go into a state of panic! I was in so much pain!

Then... I centered... I grounded myself with earth, felt the rock and connected with her, and then I grounded myself with air, reaching for the sky, so I could be light (mentally and physically). I grounded to fire, because I was going to need some fire in my blood to get me to the back to the hut (10 hours away) and I released it all with water, just streamed it all away.
After a 5-minute break, I started to climb again and I made it to the top! When I reached the top I could not stop letting out these screams of joy! (They were interrupted with streams of laughter!) It was the energy of the world flowing through me! I can't remember the last time I was that full of life!

I just wanted to share that with you, because you are the one who taught me how to centre with earth, air, fire and water energies.

I was so full of energy when we were back at the HUT that I was up awake till 3am! I could not sleep and sat outside the hut looking at the stars! It was great!

Thanks Carol for being my amazing coach, I truly appreciate all that you taught me and continue to teach me with your thoughts on your life from here.
