Have you thought about what makes you unique? What are your “different colors” like the October leaves?

Many people try to fit in and do what others do instead of building on what makes them special to become all they are.

Since I started to integrate all I am – my skills, talents, experiences, degrees, professional and personal life experiences – my success skyrocketed. Instead of separating my various skills and experiences, I put them together now and build on all of them. In a previous blog, I shared with you more about this concept and encouraged you to “Dare to be You” <http://ulrikeberzau.com/passion/remarkably/>.

How was your October? Did you use your unique skills and talents? I did! Let me share with you the colors of my October below:

-I provided healthcare consulting in Boston using my healthcare and physical therapy skills. While in Boston, I had the opportunity to see my friend, the founder of the Brain Injury Association of America and I reconnected with the Harvard physicians/researchers I used to work with. -The semester started at FDU and I began teaching two classes again in the MPA program using my business, healthcare and former teaching experiences. -We started another Passion Test for Business <http://ulrikeberzau.com/advanced-engagement-solutions/> Consultant certification course using video conferencing and we are working with participants from 9 different countries. -Together with a team, I worked on consulting projects for companies in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, UAE. I speak Arabic and I am familiar with the culture. -Yes, I did enjoy driving a sports BMW (as my rental car had some issues) remembering my hometown of Munich and how beautiful it is in the fall. -I, almost daily, enjoyed horseback riding and when the trainers were at horse shows, I helped out and gave riding lessons. -Most importantly, I celebrated my son’s birthday! -And the list goes on….so many more things I was able to do during October.

Here is what I learned – when we express our unique skills and talents and allow ourselves to step into who we truly are, we enjoy life, are inspired, productive and on a path to living our life purpose.

So how was your October?

Step into who you truly are! Start by writing a long list of everything that makes you unique.

You will be amazed at how your diverse skills, talents and experiences help you become more of who you are. Your friends, colleagues and clients are attracted to you because of who you are!
