Yes, you can fight against obesity without using any pill or supplement and work out hard in the gym. You can easily burn your calories by practising few asanas of yoga. Yoga is very beneficial in enhancing your mental, physical and spiritual health. We are mentioning the list of few yoga asanas that can help you to fight obesity. Here are some asanas that are found to be effective in cutting down the body fat. All the poses of this yoga asnas needs to be practiced regularly for effective weight loss Simhasana (Lion Pose): Practicing this asana helps you in cutting down facial fat and toning your facial muscles. It also improves the flow of blood in your face, improves your vision and removes wrinkles. Regular practice of Simhasana can get you rid of a double chin without in a matter of weeks. This needs to be practised early morning on an empty stomach. Hold the pose for 30 minutes and do it regularly. Steps that you need to follow are as follows: 1.Cross your ankles and kneel down in a way that the perineum presses on the top of your heels 2.Stretch out your fingers and place your palm on your knees 3.Open your mouth, take your tongue out and start inhaling through the nose and exhale through the mouth while making 'haa' sound 4.Open your eyes and try to look at your nose 5.Now, change the cross of the legs and repeat Chaturanga Dandasana (Four-Limbed Staff Pose): Practicing this asana regularly can give strength to your muscles around the spine and also improves your posture. Chaturanga Dandasana also tones your wrist, arms, lower back and abdominal muscles. This should also be done early morning on an empty stomach. While doing it, hold it for a few seconds and then, repeat. Steps to do it are given below: 1.Get down in plank pose 2.Your elbow should be over your wrist 3.Keep your back straight and lower down your body 4.Lift your chest up a bit 5.Your shoulders should be in line with your body 6.Hold to this position for 30 seconds and then, repeat Ardha Navasana (Half-Boat Pose): This yoga asana is highly effective for weight loss because it works over your abdominal muscles. You can do it early morning. Here are the steps that you need to follow: rn1.Sit on a ground, putting down your palms for balance and raising your legs 2.When you start feeling stable in that pose, raise your arms 3.you have to come in a position, where your arms and legs are parallel to the ground 4.Hold this position for 30 seconds 5.When you start feeling comfortable, try to increase the space between your chest and legs accordingly. Listed above are a few yoga asanas that you can start practising regularly to reap weight loss benefits. However, yoga is only effective when performed rightly.
