For a lot of people losing fat is very confusing. There is a lot of information in the internet and most of it is worthless junk. People have their own beliefs about losing stomach fat and it is very hard to make people think differently. I will give you some common sense advice about whats help you to lose belly fat and what does not.
Things that do not help you to lose fat around stomach:
- Saving calories for later
- Diet sodas will not make
- Starving yourself will not make
- Exercise alone will not make you
- Avoiding certain food groups will not make you lose fat (carbs, fats etc.) - Skipping breakfast will not make you lose fat
- Using appetite suppressants also will not make you lose fat
Of course there are other factors as well but these in my opinion are the most important. So now that we now what will not make you lose belly fat, lets see what does help you to lose belly fat.
- Eating 5-6 smaller meals a day
- Changing the way you think about food and dieting permanently
- Eating a balanced diet of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. - Stopping eating when you no longer feel hungry. - Not using food to reduce your stress levels. - Counting calories even when going to a restaurant.
It is also important to think positive and avoid negative thought. "I can" instead of "I can't." "I will instead" instead of "I won't." Going on and off of diet is the worst thing you could do. Diets are only temporary but losing fat and keeping it off forever is impossible with diets. Changes in lifestyle and habits are needed for that.
