Do you want to detoxify while losing pounds? If so then you should consider weight loss detox. However, as with any method for detoxifying your body or shedding flab, it’s important that you do it properly. Here are some tips to help you achieve that goal.
1. Do a three-day water fast.
It’s crucial that you exclusively drink purified water, as opposed to filtered or regular tap water. Besides maintaining an exclusive diet of water, you should also reduce the rigors of your everyday activities. In particular, scale back your physical activities. Avoid activities such as mowing the lawn or transplanting trees in your garden. This is an important step in the weight loss detox process.
2. Eat one type of fruit at each meal.
Do this for a week. It doesn’t matter which type of fruit you select for the various meals. Select a fruit that you like and eat as much as you want. Any type of melon is an excellent choice for breakfast, such as honeydew, watermelon, or cantaloupe.
For lunch, eat a different type of fruit. Again, the type of fruit isn’t as important as choosing a single fruit for each lunch. Grapefruits, pineapples, and oranges are excellent choices. Again, eat until you have fully satisfied your hunger.
Then at dinnertime, consume bananas, pears, grapes, and apples as part of your weight loss detox. Again, only eat one fruit at each dinner, and eat until your hunger is gone.
3. Don’t overexert yourself while maintaining your fruit diet.
If possible, avoid doing any strenuous activities, either at work or in the gym. It’s important that you conserve as much energy as possible. During this time, you may feel some side effects of eating strictly healthy foods, including lightheadedness, nausea, exhaustion, and so on. These effects are natural when undergoing weight loss detox. That’s because you’ve spent much of your life filling your body with processed, toxic foods. What you’re experiencing are basically withdrawal symptoms: your body is craving the unhealthy foods you won’t be feeding it during your detoxification process.
4. Consume a raw-food diet for one month.
It’s important that you consume different foods at different times of the day. Focus on “acid fruits” in the morning and mix them. It’s okay to have some pineapple with your plums! Make sure to eat until you are full, so you get a sufficient number of calories.
For lunch, eat a blend of fruits and veggies. Your fruits should include fresh fruits (mangoes, pears, bananas and grapes) and dried fruit (raisins, apricots, and figs). You should also eat some raw vegetables (lettuce, celery and carrots).
Then for dinner, eat a salad with a cornucopia of veggies. You can top it with a veggie-based olive oil dressing, as well as some unsalted seeds and nuts.
A weight loss detox is the perfect way to shed pounds and toxins at the same time. Following these easy steps will help to ensure that you do it effectively and safely. Good luck!
